Hey!! I’m Mackenzie- a wife to an amazing husband and mama to an adorable little boy. When I am not at home with my family, I am working in the salon as a hairstylist!

I have always found birth to be empowering and such a transformative time in a woman’s life. I had a very positive, unmedicated birth with my son. I owe it all to the time I spent educating myself beforehand. I also give credit to my wonderful husband and doula for such a positive experience.

After I had Asher, I felt a calling to help other women to hopefully have the same positive experience I did. Birth was obviously a new experience for me, but it didn’t feel foreign at all. What I learned about myself during the birth process helped guide me into motherhood. I still find myself surrendering just as I did on that day, letting the Lord guide me into being the best mom, wife, friend, hairdresser, and now, doula that I can be.

My birth was empowering, transformative, and exhilarating, and my hope is that I can help other women feel the same way about their birth experience too.

I am a firm believer that knowledge is power. Gaining the confidence you need in your body and your baby to work together starts before you walk into your birth place. Being educated about birth will help you to make educated decisions based on what is best for you and your baby, and I am here to help make sure you feel confident and empowered to make those decisions. I am your biggest cheerleader and can’t wait to serve you!
