Our doulas
Brittney Graham, BSN RN, CLD
I’m Brittney! I’m happily married to an amazing man, Jonathan and we have 6 beautiful kiddos together, Theo (10), Finley (7), Eden (5), our surprise twins: Oliver (3) and Eleanor (3), and our youngest: Archer (1). Being with my little family is truly my greatest passion and homemaking is what fills my cup. Most often you can find me barefoot in my garden chasing a bunch of kids and chickens or in my kitchen with a baby on my hip, a couple more at my feet, baking a sourdough loaf or drinking an iced latte. Jesus is my Rock, and I truly believe I’ve never felt closer to Him than when I have brought each of my babies into the world.
Growing up I vividly remember telling everyone I wanted to be a mama, as I toted around baby dolls, and that I wanted to work as a baby nurse. I went on to get my nursing degree and started out my career in the float pool going to different doctor’s offices. Of course the OBGYN offices always held a special place in my heart. Later on I started my job as a mother/baby nurse and knew this was immediately where I should be during this season of my life. I absolutely loved caring for, educating, and loving on mamas and their babies. Once Jonathan and I got married in 2014, I left my hospital job and worked as a night nurse caring for new babies in their homes. I was able to ensure these little ones were kept safe, fed, and loved while their moms and dads got some much needed rest.
After having our first son I fell even more in love with pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. After my second son was born, I began learning more and more about doulas. I signed up and completed my doula training in November of 2019 and started attending births in 2021. I knew God put a specific dream and longing in my heart to support, encourage, and nurture others. Not only do I consider this a “profession,” but in my heart, it is also my ministry. It’s an absolute honor to come alongside mamas in their most vulnerable time and encourage, pray for, and support them during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I’ve since attended countless births with precious families and each one leaves me humbled and in awe.
As a mom myself who’s birthed in the hospital, at a birth center, and at home, I love that we have options and choices in birthing our way. I would be truly honored to walk one of life’s most beautiful journey’s with you and hold your hand each step of the way!
